This a very fun we horse we've owned a year, elegant built, very smooth riding, ( not wide so easy on the hips!) and very well-broke...a been there, done that "Mr. All-Around". With his cow horse breeding, sired by a NCHA Cutting Futurity Champion and early start in reining, Cap'n is a true gentleman in the arena & out on the trails, desert, or in town on the road or parade. Just a sweet guy for any use. An experienced trail horse & we've used him extensively in the back country in AZ & OR in the mountains cruising down Elk & cattle trails & bush-wacking through downfall, flushing blue grouse & quail. Horse camping & ponying horses, and also as a school horse and bringing our cows in off pasture & sorting. He has a ground covering walk and always eager & ears up. Great with all the trail obstacles & super gentle, Cap'n doesn't get rattled at all from anything strange or unusual, and loves being ridden. Willing, kind and fun to ride in the bridle. He was shown and trail ridden by his one family owner and won many ribbons by youth & adult in showmanship, halter, western riding, reining, and trail in Open Shows.
