Here is a special guy, "Sugar Ray" I call him, he's in the prime of his life has had a nice up-bringing and now going thru the WHR finishing program. I've been riding him over the last summer & fall and am in no hurry to hurry the process of his bridle-horse training. I like him. I like riding and training on him...he's fun. Got a great attitude and all the talent one needs to get any job done. He's in top company being an own son of Metalic Rebel who sired the 2023 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion with several in the finals in 2024! and out of Smokem Oak & Nu Cash mare. Sugar Ray stands on the high side of 14.3 hands and has a keen head & neck, strong and low hocked and can get deep in the ground as Metallic Cats do. He is super quiet minded and sweet to be around, great ground manners. Fell through the performance world cracks and spent 2 years being ridden in a Hackamore checking cattle, fall gathering and navigating backcountry trails in NE Oregon. He's been back in the cowboy dressage arena with Beverly getting the "Wil Howe touch" and collected frame and balance and our signature velvet neck rein. He's just a willing student and greets you at the gate and loves to load up & go. Phenomenal in the back country, down timber, rivers, thickets & bridges, he's the one to lead the way. He's with me this winter in Nevada will be getting some time in the roping arena and cutting pen this winter as well in Arizona. I plan on keeping him a while, but don't hesitate to inquire and get you name in the pot!
