Affectionately named Bling and just recently offered for sale. We bought this very special horse 3 years ago as a big green colt. We knew we had something special and that we would have to keep him until he was mature and fully trained. He has been a complete joy since day one. We have never owned a horse like Bling in all the years and hundreds of geldings we have trained, shown or sold. He is kind-minded and almost human. So personable and yet respectful...so giving, flexible and trainable. Under saddle, he rides like you are on a cloud. Refined, responsive and oh so smooth-gaited. His gorgeous looks make him a superstar and he proves his worthiness every time you step into the stirrup (which by the way is a cinch, as he also is trained on verbal command to "step-up" to any mounting block, fence or high spot). We have ridden him all over the high desert, both in eastern Oregon and in Arizona. He has been on mountain camping trips, used by the occasional privileged student, gathered cattle & sorted on, as he loves working cattle, and has been in the Pendleton Round Up 100th Anniversary Parade as a three year-old in 2010 and in 2013 as a five year-old with a thousand horses. A show- stopping head-turner, Bling endures the crowd's attention & affection bestowed upon him with unyielding patience & affection. He navigates all trail terrain, challenging obstacles and Versatility required events with ease & interest. We took our time training him; he has been ridden in the snaffle, hackamore, two rein, and now packs the bridle with style. Even in a halter he handles like velvet. Composed, collected with cadence and charisma, he is a saddle horse second-to-none. A picture is worth a thousand words, and we have a whole family album of Bling. For the discriminating buyer only; please contact Wil for acquisition details.
